I'm a pro

When it comes to making maple syrup, I know more than anybody in my family. I went on a school trip to the Outdoor Ed Center last year and learned all about how to extract maple syrup from a tree.

There are different kinds of trees in our yard. It is difficult to tell some of them from maple trees when the trees have no leaves. I told mom and dad that the bark of maple trees came off easily. That's how you could tell there are maple. They were very impressed. Mom was surprised that I knew how to use a hand drill. At the Outdoor Ed Center, each student got to drill a hole on a tree and put a tap in.

It is cool that there are things I know more about than my parents do.

Brand new Pokemon

Shade and I did some research on the internet this evening. We discovered 153 new Pokemon. My 3 favourites are Piplup, Prinplup and Empoleon. Shade likes Turtwick, Grotle and Torterra.

It is exciting to find new Pokemon, because I never knew that these Pokemon even existed!

My photo exhibit

I took a lot of pictures with daddy's digital camera when we were at Blue Mountain this Wednesday. Mommy has picked out some good ones and made a slideshow.

Another Drawing

It took me about 20 minutes to draw this picture. I scanned it and made a card for my mum's friend, Rieko, in Japan.

Mudkip lives in water. It is 12" tall. I have it in my Pokedex in my Sapphire game. In my game, a girl named May had a Mudkip to start off with. Now she has its evolved form Marshtop.

Clay master

Here are some more clay figures. They are all Pokemon.

The first two are not totally made of clay. I created them by adding parts to 2 Pokemon figures which I bought at the store. Can you tell who they are? They are Torchick and Charmeleon.

The squirrel-like one is called Sentret. It took me 3 days to create it, because I had to smooth out all of the cracks on its body. From the tip of its ears to its tail, Sentret is only the length of my index finger. It is NOT very big at all.
